We are looking for a Content Writer responsible for creating and developing written content that is creative, engaging, and impactful across the platform’s social media channels, aligned with the brand’s identity and the events of the Iraqi Premier League.

Our marketing team consists of 36 members, 22 of whom are based in Baghdad.

Expected Tasks:

• Write daily and interactive social media content that reflects the events of the Iraqi Premier League in an engaging and easy-to-understand style.

• Turn sports news into engaging stories that drive interaction and strengthen the audience’s connection with the content, teams, and players.

• Develop ideas for posts and interactive narratives related to match schedules, highlights, trends, and statistics.

• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure harmony between text, visuals, and video content.

• Continuously edit and update content in line with league developments, audience feedback, and trends.

• Ensure consistency in language and editorial tone in line with the platform’s identity and Qafiya Creative Agency’s editorial values.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in digital content writing or sports journalism.

• Good understanding of Iraqi football and the Iraqi Premier League.

• Familiarity with engaging and concise writing styles for various social media platforms.
