Position Details

We are looking for a Content Writer who will be responsible for writing and developing creative, engaging, and impactful written content across the platform’s social media channels, in line with the brand identity and the events of the Iraqi Premier League.

Our marketing team consists of 36 members, 22 of whom are based in Baghdad.

Expected Responsibilities:

• Write daily and interactive social media content that reflects the events of the Iraqi Premier League in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.

• Turn sports news into enjoyable stories that spark interaction and strengthen audience engagement with the content, teams, and players.

• Develop ideas for posts and interactive narratives related to match schedules, highlights, trends, and statistics.

• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure consistency between text, visuals, and video content.

• Continuously edit and update content in line with league developments, audience feedback, and trends.

• Ensure language consistency and editorial tone that align with the platform’s identity and Qafiya Creative Agency’s editorial values.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in digital content writing or sports journalism.

• Good understanding of Iraqi football and the Iraqi Premier League.

• Familiarity with engaging and concise writing styles for various social media platforms.
